2017 - EXPERIMENTAL CATERING

 

I was asked by ArtCoDe to design a small catering for the graduation exhibition of the Academy of Art, Communication and Design at Galerie Kokon, Tilburg (NL).

 

Flowers are regularly given at a celebration, in this case at a graduation. They have a certain beauty and are often used for ornamental purposes.

 

I wanted to bring the celebration of the graduation in the food, and therefore designed a small catering with different bites about flowers: white chocolate with flower petals, flower popsicles, peppermint marshmallows, tingling gin (mixed with szechuan) with a blue berry sirup and a glass of rose flavoured sponge-cake filled with a mousse of white chocolate topped with an edible flower.
